Du wirst Teil eines unserer IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers und arbeitest in einem Umfeld, das technologisches Know‑how mit tiefer Branchenexpertise im öffentlichen Sektor verbindet. Von dort aus begleiten wir unsere Kunden, wenn es darum geht, moderne Plattformarchitekturen, Automatisierungsstrategien, AI‑fähige Umgebungen und sichere Betriebsmodelle im Public Sector zu etablieren.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
Als IT Architekt – Public Sector übernimmst du die technische Verantwortung für die Konzeption, Entwicklung und Umsetzung von IT‑Architekturen in komplexen Digitalisierungs‑ und Modernisierungsprojekten. Du kombinierst Expertise in Operating Systems, Containerplattformen, Automatisierung, DevSecOps/MLOps und AI‑fähigen Architekturen mit einem tiefen Verständnis für die Anforderungen der öffentlichen Verwaltung.
Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören unter anderem:- Architekturdesign moderner Hybrid‑Cloud‑ und Container‑Landschaften (Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure)
- Entwicklung von Lösungskonzepten inklusive Deployment‑, Integrations‑ und Betriebsmodellen
- Design und Implementierung von Kubernetes Operators zur Installations‑ und Konfigurationsautomatisierung
- Implementierung skriptbasierter Automatisierung (Ansible, MS PowerShell)
- Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung von DevSecOps‑ und MLOps‑Pipelines (ArgoCD, GitLab, Jenkins, MLFlow)
- Gestaltung von Architekturmustern für AI‑fähige Systeme und Einbindung spezialisierter Foundation‑Modelle
- Beratung öffentlicher Auftraggeber zu API‑Design, Integrationsarchitekturen, Cloud‑Security und Compliance
- Analyse fachlicher und technischer Anforderungen und deren Übersetzung in Architekturspezifikationen
- Sicherstellung von Governance-, Sicherheits- und regulatorischen Vorgaben im Public‑Sector‑Umfeld
- Enge Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären Teams und erste Führung von technischen Teilteams
- Begleitung von Kundenworkshops, technische Kommunikation mit Stakeholdern und Präsentation von Architekturentwürfen
Required education
Required technical and professional expertise
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in klassischen Betriebssystemen (RHEL, Windows Server)
- Solide Erfahrung in Kubernetes‑Plattformen (insbesondere Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure)
- Erfahrung in der Lösungsentwicklung für komplexe technische Anforderungen
- Starke Grundlagen in DevSecOps‑ und MLOps‑Tools (ArgoCD, GitLab, Jenkins, MLFlow)
- Erfahrung im Design und in der Implementierung von Kubernetes Operators
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in skriptbasierter Installations‑ und Konfigurationsautomatisierung (Ansible, MS PowerShell)
- Ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit sowie sehr gute Kommunikations‑ und Dokumentationsfähigkeiten
- Fließende Deutschkenntnisse (mindestens C1)
- Bereitschaft zu Sicherheitsüberprüfung ist erforderlich
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Gutes Verständnis der Architektur und Bewertung von IT‑Systemen mit AI‑Komponenten
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung mit spezialisierten Foundation Models und deren Hosting
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Cloud‑ und Containertechnologien sowie deren Administration
- Kenntnisse in API‑Design und Integrationsmustern
- Verständnis für Compliance‑, Sicherheits‑ und regulatorische Anforderungen im Public Sector
- Erfahrung in Projekten der öffentlichen Verwaltung oder im Bereich Defense
- Erste Erfahrung in der Führung technischer Teams
