Data Analyst (f/m/d) Data Management & Data Governance

In this newly created position, you will play a central role in the development and implementation of concepts for data governance and data master data management.

Your tasks

• You will support the team management in the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, strategies and guidelines using cutting-edge technologies
• You ensure data quality and integrity through implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of data management processes
• You develop and maintain data lineage for seamless tracking of data origin and usage
• You inventory data and data sources and build and maintain a comprehensive data and metadata catalog
• You design and manage data roles within the data governance framework and create reports and analyses to monitor and ensure compliance with data governance guidelines
• The development and implementation of training courses and workshops to promote a data-driven corporate culture are also part of your responsibilities

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable course of study
• Several years of professional experience in data governance, data management or data analysis
• In-depth knowledge of the application and implementation of data management tools and technologies
• Experience in developing and maintaining data lineage as well as creating and managing data catalogs
• Excellent analytical skills and concentrated problem-solving skills
• Confident communication skills and strong team player qualities, combined with a confident demeanor in interdisciplinary teams
• Very good German and English, spoken and written
