Aufgaben
- Design & Development of Workflows: Create, build, and maintain automated workflows using tools like n8n or Make.com to streamline business processes (e.g. handling support tickets, data entry, reporting).
- API Integration: Connect various systems via REST APIs and webhooks – for example, integrating platforms such as Zendesk, Baserow, or internal databases – to enable seamless data flow and process automation.
- AI-Powered Automation: Leverage Large Language Models (OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Llama, etc.) by crafting effective prompts to automate text-heavy tasks like answering common customer inquiries, extracting information from PDFs, or summarizing documents
- Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders in different business units to analyze their workflows, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for automation that will reduce manual effort and errors.
- Reliability & Optimization: Implement robust error-handling, monitoring, and logging for all automations to ensure reliability. Continuously monitor workflow performance and optimize processes for speed and scalability, troubleshooting issues and refining solutions as needed.
- Documentation: Document all automated workflows and processes, maintaining clear guides and technical documentation so that solutions are maintainable and knowledge is shared across the team.
Profil
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in scripting, or process automation; a degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for building custom automation logic and scripts.
- Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Make.com (Integromat) for creating complex integrations.
- API & Web Services: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data formats (JSON, XML) to connect and integrate diverse systems.
- Data Handling: Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ability to work with data in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for cleaning and transforming information. Knowledge of tools like Baserow or Airtable for no-code databases is a plus.
- AI/LLM Knowledge: Experience leveraging AI, specifically Large Language Models, in workflow automation – for example, using GPT-based services to generate content or analyze text, and skill in prompt engineering to get desired outputs.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-driven mindset. You can troubleshoot complex issues independently and "figure things out” to get the job done.
- Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills. Able to work with non-technical stakeholders to understand problems and explain automation solutions in clear terms. You document processes well and are comfortable guiding others in using the tools.
- Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English; German proficiency is a plus.
Bonus skills (Nice to have)
- Experience with Microsoft tools like Power Automate and understanding when to use them in combination with our main platforms.
- Familiarity with basic SQL and data pipeline or ETL concepts for more advanced data manipulation and transfer between systems.
- Knowledge of script automation for office tools (e.g., writing Excel macros or using Python scripts to process CSV/PDF files).
- Background in or passion for sustainability tech or waste management sector – aligning with our mission of a waste-free future.
- Version Control: Comfort with version control systems (Git) and agile workflows for managing automation projects, as well as basic understanding of cloud services or Linux environments.
