Aufgaben
The Oater needs support in the area of product development for alternative dairy products. The Oater builds micro-factories for the decentralised production of plant-based drinks. Since last year we have been selling our machines in Germany to independent cafés as well as large companies and caterers.
To serve the extended customer environment and customer interests, we want to push forward within product development!
Using Python, Docker, and a Torizon device, you will independently work on optimizing the software that controls sensors, motors, valves, and heating elements, ensuring seamless operation and improving system reliability.
You will apply your knowledge in:
- Optimizing software performance and adding robust error handling.
- Calibrating and testing hardware components for enhanced precision.
- Collaborating with the team to integrate new features and improvements.
Initially, you will receive thorough training on the current system setup by our engineering team.
Your internship will place you at the intersection of product development and automation in an innovative start-up environment where you will contribute to real-world projects and gain invaluable hands-on experience!

- Familiarity with Python, Docker, and hardware components such as sensors, motors, and actuators is a plus.
Qualification:
- You are looking for an internship (up to 6 months), mandatory or voluntary during or at the end of your studies.
- Internship begin in September or October
- Fluent in German or English
- You are willing to work with us at your headquarter in Cologne Ehrenfeld, Germany (this is not a remote position)
