We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes and VMware Tanzu Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in container orchestration, cloud-native application platforms, and modern DevSecOps practices. This role involves deploying, managing, and maintaining highly available Kubernetes clusters with VMware Tanzu and k8s Kubernetes, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of cloud-native infrastructures, while driving automation and operational excellence.

Your profile

Experience: Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes and VMware Tanzu environments in production.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes architecture, including networking, storage, and cluster lifecycle management.
• Experience with VMware Tanzu ecosystem (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, Mission Control, Build Service, Application Platform).
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Harbor, container registries).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Carvel).
• Good understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux).
• Solid knowledge of networking, load balancers, security, and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (VMware vSphere, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Certifications: Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, or VMware Tanzu Specialist certifications are advantageous.

• are burning for Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Build and maintain automation scripts and pipelines using tools such as Terraform / OpenTofu, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD for infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
• want to dig deep in Observability & Monitoring:
  Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Tanzu Mission Control) to ensure proactive system health management.

  Apply Kubernetes security best practices, manage RBAC/OPA policies, enforce network security, and safeguard workloads.
