Summary of This Role
An Operational Risk Officer and Scheme Compliance Manager (Role) is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT-related risks to ensure the security and integrity of an organization's information systems. This Role involves developing and implementing risk management strategies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, card schemes and standards. The Role works to safeguard the organization against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
What Part Will You Play?
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to IT systems, applications, and processes.
- Develop, establish, and implement policies and frameworks for IT security and risk management.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, including developing business continuity plans.
- Monitor adherence to IT risk policies, standards, and relevant regulations
- Monitor enhancements to card scheme regulations and ensure compliance
- Participate in the development and implementation of incident response plans.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units, to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.
- Prepare reports on risk assessments, mitigation plans, and incidents for senior management.
- Promote awareness of IT risks and best practices among employees.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in IT risk management and cybersecurity.
Your Profile
- University degree (MSc or MBA) in the the subjects: IT and Information Security, Risk Management, Cyber Security or similar
- More than 10 years concrete experiences

- Strong understanding of IT/Operational risk management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, card scheme rules and standards.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with security software, data encryption, and other security measures.
- Familiarity with business continuity planning and disaster recovery
