Als Teil eines unserer IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers arbeitest du an der Schnittstelle von IT‑Security, Infrastrukturarchitektur und Public‑Sector‑Expertise. Dort kombinieren wir technisches Spezialwissen mit einem tiefen Verständnis für regulatorische Anforderungen, um Sicherheitslösungen zu entwickeln, die staatliche Organisationen langfristig unterstützen.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
Als Security Specialist – Public Sector verantwortest du die Planung, Absicherung und Weiterentwicklung komplexer Netzwerk‑ und Infrastrukturlandschaften im öffentlichen Sektor. Du bringst tiefes technisches Know‑how in Netzwerktechnologien, Security‑Produkten und Authentifizierungsmechanismen ein und stellst sicher, dass Lösungen den hohen Sicherheits‑ und Compliance‑Vorgaben öffentlicher Einrichtungen entsprechen. Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören unter anderem:
- Analyse, Design und Weiterentwicklung sicherer Netzwerk‑ und Infrastrukturlösungen
- Auswahl, Konfiguration und Betrieb von Netzwerk‑Security‑Produkten (Appliances und Software) wie Firewall‑ und VPN‑Systemen
- Expertise in der Nutzung und Bewertung führender Netzwerk‑ und Security‑Plattformen
- Bewertung und Umsetzung von Sicherheitsanforderungen basierend auf AAA‑Konzepten und gängigen Netzwerkprotokollen
- Beratung zu sicherheitsrelevanten Anforderungen, insbesondere im Umgang mit vertraulichen staatlichen Informationen
- Anwendung von regulatorischen Vorgaben und Standards im Public Sector (z. B. Zertifizierungen wie CC EAL4+)
- Erstellung sicherheitsrelevanter Architekturkonzepte im Bereich Infrastruktur und Integration
- Planung, Aufbau und Betrieb von On‑Premises‑Systemen im öffentlichen Umfeld
- Zusammenarbeit mit Architektur‑, Infrastruktur‑ und Security‑Teams zur Umsetzung ganzheitlicher Sicherheitskonzepte
- Kommunikation komplexer technischer und sicherheitsrelevanter Inhalte an Stakeholder
Required education
Required technical and professional expertise
- Tiefgehende Kenntnisse in Netzwerktechnologien
- Tiefgehende Kenntnisse in Netzwerk‑Security‑Produkten (Hardware‑Appliances und Software, z. B. Firewall, VPN)
- Expertise in führenden Netzwerk- und Network‑Security‑Plattformen
- Gutes Verständnis verschiedener Netzwerkprotokolle sowie von Authentication, Authorization and Accounting
- Kenntnisse staatlicher/regulatorischer Anforderungen zur Verarbeitung vertraulicher Informationen
- Kenntnisse von IT‑Security‑Zertifizierungen (z. B. CC EAL4+)
- Einblicke in öffentliche/governmentale Strukturen und Anforderungen
- Bereitschaft zu Sicherheitsüberprüfung ist erforderlich
- Erfahrung mit Red Hat OpenShift, Linux, Windows und VMware
- Erfahrung in der Beschreibung von IT‑Architekturen im Bereich Infrastruktur und Integration
- Erfahrung in Planung und Betrieb von On‑Premises‑Systemen
- Hervorragende verbale Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
