• Development: You conceptualise and develop scalable back-end services and take responsibility for the entire life-cycle of our digital products – from the first idea all the way to go-live. Our tech stack is mainly Java (Spring Boot + Hibernate), JavaScript (React + Next.js), Docker (+ Kubernetes) and GitLab.
• Leadership: As a Senior Back-End Developer you will, in the medium term, lead a team of 3–5 developers on a technical level, coach them during code reviews and ensure clean architectures.
• Architecture: You actively shape our microservice and headless architecture, define coding standards and drive refactorings.
• Automation: Automation is your passion: you build CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, containerise with Docker/Kubernetes and guarantee high software quality through automated tests.
• Innovation: With an eye on new technologies you evaluate trends, contribute your own ideas and thus continuously advance our platforms.

• Experience: At least five years of hands-on experience in back-end development with Java/Spring Boot; a degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Expertise: Deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot + Hibernate), JavaScript (React + Next.js), Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, RESTful APIs and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding: Solid understanding of web and front-end topics (React, Next.js, micro-frontends) and how they interact with headless back-ends.
• Automation: Proven experience with CI/CD, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and test automation.
• Leadership: Ideally, initial leadership experience and a passion for sharing knowledge and motivating teams.
• Analytical Skills: Analytical thinking, a structured working style and high quality standards.
• Languages: Fluent spoken and written English; German skills are a plus.
• Personality: You are communicative, assertive, eager to learn and reliable – in short: a real team player with drive.
