We, Vivalyx, are a medical technology startup from Aachen dedicated to saving people suffering from organ failure. Our goal is to significantly increase the vitality and number of donor organs. The company is currently in the preparation phase for certification and the associated studies.
For this purpose, we are looking for a new student assistant (m/f/d) starting in October for at least 8 and up to 19 hours a week.

As a student assistant in our product team, you will be working on our product Omnisol, a liquid that replaces human blood in the preservation process when transplanting organs. You will directly support documentation, testing, and project management activities that are key for the development and registration of Omnisol.

• Drafting and reviewing test protocols and reports (e.g., shelf-life studies, method validations)
• Supporting the coordination and execution of product tests in collaboration with internal and external partners
• Assisting in the preparation of technical and regulatory documentation
• Supporting project management activities for upcoming (pre-)clinical trials, including potential on-site support
• Contributing to go-to-market preparation, such as compiling scientific data for external communication or supporting strategic planning
• Taking ownership of smaller projects depending on skills and interest (e.g., coordinating text activities, supporting planning tasks)

• Enrolled student in life sciences, medical engineering, pharmacy, or a related field
• Strong mativation and genuine interst in medial technology and product development
• High degree of ownership, drive, and commitment to tasks; teamplayer
• Preferably with first experience in the medical technology or life sciences sector or first expertise in project management
• Confident use of Microsoft Office and proficient English skills (written and spoken); German is a plus

• First-hand experience in MedTech product development, testing, and regulatory affairs working on a highly innovative cutting-edge technology
• Direct exposure to (pre-)clinical trial preparation and execution
• Insights into how to bring breakthrough medical innovations from the research lab to clinical usage in the market
