For our XIAO restaurant in Köln, we are looking for full-time

sushi chefs (m/f/d) as soon as possible:

• With your flair for food trends in Japanese cuisine and your culinary creativity, you will continuously develop XIAO's sushi buffet and set new, innovative standards.
• Independent production: Celebrate the art of sushi preparation and process our high-quality fish professionally while maintaining consistent and top quality
• Be responsible for the preparation and follow-up of your workplace as well as compliance with our quality standards
• Plan and act economically in the preparation of goods
• Clean the kitchen equipment in compliance with hygiene regulations in accordance with food law requirements (HACCP guidelines)

Requirements

• You have many years of professional experience as a passionate sushi chef
• You have a contemporary and trend-orientated approach to Japanese cuisine, especially sushi.
• You have culinary creativity and work with attention to detail.
• You have excellent dexterity.
• You have knowledge in the professional handling of fresh and high-quality products.
• You take responsibility for production and have a structured way of working.
• You have a sense of responsibility and quality awareness.
• You are an absolute team player.
• You value a tidy and well-groomed appearance.
• You know the HACCP guidelines and act accordingly.
