PCB Designer - Space / Aerospace / Defence

iO Associates is partnered with an innovative space client who design cutting-edge power electronics for space travel.

They are currently looking for a PCB Designer with a strong background in the space industry to help create high-quality products that meet their customer's needs.

Due to the nature of my client's defence projects, they can only consider candidates with EU, NATO, or Central/South American citizenship.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of professional working experience in the space, aerospace or defence industry.
• Proficiency in multilayer layout design (ideally 6+ layers)
• 3+ years of experience in PCB design.
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities:

• Design PCBs for power electronics in close coordination with the circuit designer.
• Place components and handle wiring/routing.
• Ensure designs meet electrical, EMC, signal integrity, thermal, and installation space requirements.
• Maintain the internal component library.
• Control PCB layouts and create procurement specifications.
• Generate manufacturing data.
