Embedded & GUI Development Engineer (f/m/x)

Your responsibilities:

• Further development and upgrading of an existing UI based on Qt Quick/QML , including optimization of the underlying software architecture
• Adaptation and optimization of an existing climate control application
• Execution of module, integration, and system tests in the lab as well as directly in the vehicle
• Creation of technical software documentation in accordance with corporate standards
• Design and implementation of new features in close collaboration with system architects and specialist departments
• Performance optimization of existing components
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams (hardware, testing, system development) within the framework of agile development processes

Your profile:

• Completed degree (university/university of applied sciences) or technical college in the field of:
• Computer Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Control Engineering
• or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Qt development for embedded systems
• In-depth knowledge of:
• Qt (QML / Qt Quick)
• Matlab/Simulink
• C
• Basic experience with:
• Embedded Linux
• Version control using Git
• CI/CD tools
• Test automation
• CAN bus protocols (CANopen, J1939, UDS)
• Jira and Scrum methodologies
• Very good German skills , both written and spoken
• Good English skills , both written and spoken
