We are looking for a full-time or part-time Medical Director of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology (m/f/d) for our Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at the Krefeld site as of 01.03.2026.

• Care of our young patients with endocrinological and diabetological diseases in our institute outpatient clinic and in the inpatient area
• Outpatient clinic days Monday to Friday
• Participation in training programs
• Close collaboration with the teams of other paediatric subspecialties
• Option to work on scientific projects and studies, in future as part of the Health and Medical University (HMU), Düsseldorf/Krefeld campus

• You are a specialist (m/f/d) in pediatric and adolescent medicine with a focus on pediatric endocrinology and diabetology or the desire to obtain this additional designation; alternatively, you have a DDG diabetologist certification (m/f/d)
• You are characterized above all by a high level of social competence, an open-minded personality and enjoy working with our young patients
• You have commitment, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility
• Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and further development of the department
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

More than 6,000 inpatient and more than 20,000 outpatient cases are treated annually at the Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine and the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Helios Klinikum Krefeld. There are numerous specialties (KiOZ Children's Oncology Center, Perinatal Center Level I, Intensive Care Medicine, Diabetology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Haematology, Immunology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neuropaediatrics, Rheumatology).

Around 200 children and adolescents with diabetes are treated in the Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology department and around 500 outpatient consultations are carried out each quarter as part of endocrinological diagnostics. Special emphasis is placed on an interdisciplinary approach and individual psychosocial support for affected families.
