We are looking for a full-time or part-time Medical Director of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology (m/f/d) for our Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at the Krefeld site as of 01.03.2026.

• Care of our young patients with endocrinological and diabetological diseases in our institute outpatient clinic and in the inpatient area
• Outpatient clinic days Monday to Friday
• Participation in training programs
• Close collaboration with the teams of the other pediatric subspecialties
• Option to participate in scientific projects and studies, in the future as part of the Health and Medical University (HMU), Campus Düsseldorf/Krefeld

• You are a specialist (m/f/d) in paediatric and adolescent medicine with a focus on paediatric endocrinology and diabetology or you wish to obtain this additional designation; alternatively, you have a DDG diabetologist certification (m/f/d)
• They are characterized above all by a high level of social skills, an open-minded personality and joy in dealing with our young patients
• You have commitment, commitment and a high sense of responsibility
• Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation and further development of the department
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Center for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and the Department of Pediatric Surgery at the Helios Clinic Krefeld treat more than 6,000 inpatient and more than 20,000 outpatient cases every year. There are numerous focal points (KiOZ Pediatric Oncology Center, Perinatal Center Level I, Intensive Care Medicine, Diabetology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Immunology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neuropediatrics, Rheumatology).

In pediatric endocrinology and diabetology, about 200 children and adolescents with diabetes are cared for and about 500 outpatient visits are made per quarter as part of endocrinological diagnostics. Particular emphasis is placed on an interdisciplinary approach and individual psychosocial support for the affected families.
