For our cross-location Center for Orthopaedics, Trauma and Hand Surgery, we are looking for you as Head Physician / Senior Physician Pediatric Orthopaedics (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.
What you can expect
- The entire field of inpatient and outpatient surgical and conservative pediatric orthopedics
- Established department for pediatric orthopedics; close cooperation with our large pediatric clinic, pediatric intensive care unit, SPC and neonatology level 1
- In addition to designated orthopaedics, the clinic also has a surgical focus on the spine
- You will promote cooperative collaboration with all departments of the clinic and doctors in private practice
- Excellent opportunities to establish a department with a national reputation in an underserved pediatric orthopaedic metropolitan area in the Helios Rhine-Ruhr cluster
What you bring with you
- Recognition as a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery (m/f/d) with additional qualification in pediatric orthopaedics
- Sound knowledge in the diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of pediatric orthopaedic diseases
- Open-mindedness, personal responsibility and commitment
- Genuine desire to represent the field of pediatric orthopaedics in one of the largest orthopaedic/trauma surgery clinics in NRW, both internally and externally
- Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Clinic for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery treats almost 8,000 inpatients and 28,000 outpatients per year at its 3 locations with 20 senior physicians/head physicians and 28 specialist and assistant physicians. With the exception of rheumatoid orthopaedics, all facets of the specialist field are covered, both conservatively and surgically. We also have excellent links to the private practice sector via our MVZ. Rotations to get to know the outpatient sector are an integral part of our structured training concept.
