For our Clinic for Cardiac and Cardiovascular Surgery in Krefeld, we are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant / Physician Assistant (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible

Preoperative admission and patient information

Patient care as part of treatment care, e.g. insertion of flexible tubes, blood sampling, removal of drains and pacemaker wires

Monitoring of medically initiated therapies

Postoperative transfer planning

Documentation of quality assurance (EQS)

Preparation of ready-to-sign discharge letters in collaboration with the medical staff

Central information function for inquiries from referring physicians, doctors providing further treatment, health insurance companies and rehabilitation clinics

Completed training as a medical assistant (MFA) (m/f/d) and

Completed training as a Physician Assistant (PA) (m/f/d)

Patient-oriented thinking, independent and reliable way of working

Good communication skills in dealing with patients and in a team

Legally required proof of immunization against measles

Reliable working hours from 07:30 to 16:00, no late, night or weekend shifts

Opportunity to rotate on our IMC ward, OR and echo lab

The Clinic for Heart Surgery offers all modern heart surgery procedures except heart transplants and pediatric heart surgery. The clinic has 2 operating theaters, a hybrid operating theater as part of the joint heart center, as well as a cardiac surgery intensive care unit and an IMC ward directly connected to the clinic. Patients with structural heart disease are treated on an interdisciplinary basis with the Department of Cardiology. The joint heart center is located in the beautiful and functionally excellent new building of the entire hospital.
