For our ophthalmology clinic in Krefeld, we are looking for you as Senior Consultant Ophthalmology (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• Independent performance and supervision of surgical procedures in the field of ophthalmology (e.g. cataract, glaucoma, eyelid or vitreoretinal surgery, depending on specialization)
• Diagnosis and treatment of the entire spectrum of ophthalmological diseases
• Instruction, supervision and further training of assistant doctors
• Helping to shape and develop the medical services and quality standards of the department
• You will work closely with a dedicated and experienced team of doctors and nurses

• You are a specialist in ophthalmology (m/f/d)
• Extensive experience and conservative and surgical expertise in the field of ophthalmology
• Independent working style and an open and confident manner
• You enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation and have very good communication skills
• A sense of responsibility as well as organizational strength and decision-making skills
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The eye clinic has 30 beds. It covers the entire spectrum of ophthalmology. Around 7,000 operations are performed every year. The clinic specializes in microsurgery of the anterior segment of the eye, vitreoretinal surgery, strabismus treatment and plastic surgery of the eyelids. We treat around 8,000 patients a year in the eye clinic's outpatient department. Full authorization for further training is available.
