Design Engineer (m/w/d) Design & Development

Location: GERMANY/Kreuztal | Sector: Transformer Lines

Due to the very good order situation, we are looking for a Design Engineer (m/f/d) for our Transformer Lines divison with the following main tasks and requirements:

Your tasks

For our globally market-leading transformer line systems, you will create the design basis for high efficiency along the GEORG value chain.

• Development, design and technical support for customer-related orders
• Development and further development of design solutions within the framework of specified concepts and system strategies (e.g. standardization)
• Creation and evaluation of draft solutions, taking into account functional, material, manufacturing and economic aspects
• Creation of unit, assembly and component drawings and management of pars lists
• Interdisciplinary and cross-departmental collaboration with automation, fluid technology, production, sales, service and documentation

Your profile

You are a creative and economically minded person who is well versed in both special machine construction and standardization.

• Degree in mechanical engineering or technician with professional experience
• Knowledge and professional experience in the creation of design documents in mechanical and plant engineering
• Practical experience in the design of sophisticated systems and special solutions
• Knowledge and ideally experience in modularization/standardization in mechanical engineering
• Good CAD knowledge of 2D and 3D design and calculation methos in Autodesk
