Industrial Field Service Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Mechatronics / Automation Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our field service department in the USA.

Your tasks

You will support our team with the installation, commissioning and service of our machine- and automation systems.

• Expansion and adaptation to the S7 control system, taking into account mechanical, electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic system components.
• Adaptation of the PLC safety program taking into account the risk assessment
• Integration and testing of new software modules for existing and new machine applications
• Commissioning of the systems and testing of all functions
• Acceptance and handover of the machine to the customer, including operator training and production support
• Maintenance and service of existing machines

Your profile

You are a flexible expert who is knowledgeable in automated system technology and with a high level of accountability and precision gets our complex machines and systems operational.

• Degree as a state-certified mechatronics technician with several years of professional experience in automated plant engineering or completed university engineering degree in electrical engineering (focus on automation technology)
• PLC programming experience and knowledge of SIEMENS PLC systems and SIEMENS drive systems
• High level of commitment, flexibility and mobility
• Good English language skills, German language skills is a plus
