Software Developer (m/f/d)

Location: GERMANY/Kreuztal | Sector: Transformer Lines

We are looking for a PLC software developer (m/f/d) for our transformer lines division with the following main tasks and areas of expertise:

Your tasks

You will develop creative and cost-effective software solutions for highly automated cutting lines.

• Development of control software in the SIEMENS TIA Portal
• Programming of robot systems
• Design and optimization of machine processes, taking into account the mechanics, electrical drive technology, and pneumatic/hydraulic fluid technology used
• Introduction, testing, and documentation of new software modules for existing and new mechanical applications
• Support for commissioning in the assembly plant and on-site acceptance at our customers' locations worldwide

Your profile

You are familiar with highly complex technical challenges and know how to turn your own creative ideas into marketable solutions.

• Completed engineering degree (technical college) in electrical engineering, specializing in automation technology
• Experience in developing innovative solutions in automated plant engineering
• In-depth expertise in using SIEMENS-TIA Portal
• Ideally, knowledge of robotics and cyber security.
• High level of communication skills, flexibility, and mobility.
