Activities

• Performance of welding supervision according to EN ISO 15085-2
• Management of welders and welding-related documentation
• Performing non-destructive testing (VT/MT/PT) according to EN ISO 9712
• Evaluation, interpretation and standards-compliant documentation of the test results
• Testing of safety-relevant metallic components and welds
• Support in the maintenance of the latest locomotives

Requirements

• Completed training as an IWE
• Certification according to EN ISO 9712 Level 2 (VT/MT/PT) – mandatory
• Professional experience in the railway/rail vehicle sector is required.
• Knowledge of the standards ISO 15085-2 and EN ISO 3834
• Technical understanding, accuracy, and a structured approach to work.

The following applies to this position: Collective agreement for the metal industry , employment group WVG (Master) .
The legal Minimum wage is €4.475,48 gross per month (based on full-time employment and 6 years of service in a relevant pay grade). One Overpayment depends on experience and qualifications is possible.
