Your tasks

• You will be responsible for the entire supplier portfolio, taking into account all procurement risks.
• You will be in charge of managing cost reduction and supplier development programs.
• You will be responsible for performing cost analyses, developing new solution strategies, ensuring security of supply, and continuously monitoring the procurement market.
• You will also be responsible for performing product calculations and making "make or buy” decisions.
• Your home: Operational purchasing for a defined product group (e.g., raw materials such as stainless steel and plastic products, assemblies, control cabinets, etc.).
• Regular communication with other departments to determine the correct requirements and technical specifications in the best possible way is a matter of course for you.

Education

• Completed training in a technical field
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing required
• Strong implementation skills and an emphatic, hands-on personality
• Process experience along the value chain in a manufacturing environment
• Independent and structured way of working as well as team spirit
• Flexibility, resilience, and problem-solving skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Fluent language skills in German and English
