Job Description Summary
The R&D Procurement Manager is accountable for the procurement work stream of Global Product Development System (GPDS) process and R&D activities through strategic supplier development and selection process to ensure optimized time to market, best value delivery while meeting business requirements in terms of financial targets, quality, delivery, regulatory, contracting and compliance requirements. This role will work in close alignment with global and regional procurement teams and also cross-functional teams to drive the procurement strategy for the assigned business (es) pipeline of innovation projects.Job Description

Responsibilities
- Accountable for the overall Procurement strategy for Innovation, contributing to the projects’ commercial success
- Act as a single point of contact and represent all aspects of Procurement at New Product Development and Innovation phase within the project core teams
- Lead the overall planning, leadership and execution of all strategic Procurement activities and ensure appropriate alignment with the Business and Project leaders on Procurement source plan
- Coordinate RFI, RFQ, cost model, cost estimation, … for each project. Create and elaborate Make vs Buy analysis with a cross functional team
- Create and manage required agreements related with new project development (CDA, Development Agreements, SOW, Supply Agreements, MSA, …)
- Manage Supplier due diligence for development and qualification activities. Foster collaboration with our preferred Suppliers network to leverage on their innovation capabilities, transforming ideas into commercial solutions
Preferred Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of work experience in R&D, strategic procurement, supplier development, new product development or innovation procurement experience
Master in Engineering, Procurement or Supply Chain or equivalent
Experience managing complex, international projects, involving multiple stakeholders, with strong knowledge of sourcing innovation and category strategies, including RFI/RFQ processes and supplier selection.
Strong contractual expertise in innovation partnerships, including co‑development agreements, NDAs, IP, and Master Service Agreements (MSA), with proven ability to manage supplier relationships in an innovation context.
Strong influencing and communication skills within a highly matrixed and multi-cultural organization
Experience in medical technology, healthcare or pharmaceutical industry as an advantage
Salary range for the role: €55.000 to €70 .000
