Responsibilities:
Leading and mentor a small team of node.js developers with the focus to deliver cutting-edge live web results for the sports industry.
Design and develop reliable, high-performance software solutions for the sports industry.
Manage sprint planning, task allocations, deadlines and coordinate functional stakeholders.
Support international sports events, including on-site deployments.
Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Profile:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in software engineering and 4+ years professional Node.js development experience with solid frontend web development experience with vue.js or react.
First leadership experience or a proven track record of leading technical teams.
Strong knowledge of Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS), competent in CI/CD, automated testing, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Passion for technology and sports, along with a willingness to travel to ensure proper functionality and to perform ad hoc fixes, if needed.
Previous experience in C# and .NET is a plus.
Fluent in English (mind. C1) is a must, while skills in French or German are beneficial.
