• As Technical Assurance Engineer, youwill be providing Technical Assurance services related to yourdiscipline for Site Projects executed by E&PMEurope.
• You will be part ofthe Technical Assurance Team and reporting to Sr. Manager ProjectDevelopment & Technical Assurance.
• The TA services is to assure compliance toInternational codes, applicable standard and ensure soundengineering practices.
• Youwill be involved in the review and acceptance of the scope andengineering packages at the different stages of engineering, i.e.CDP, FEED and DE. The focus will be on the major site projectswithin the Europe region.
• Youwill interact with the E&PM Project Portfolio Managers, theEngineering Alliance Project Managers and Discipline Engineers andduring the Project Development phase also with the Manufacturingproject owner.
• The role of TAengineer is successfully practiced within the KSA E&PMorganization and is now implemented in the Europe region. As such,it is expected you will work together with your colleagueTA-engineers in the KSA.
•Review and technical acceptance of CDP packages (related to yourdiscipline).
• Supportmanufacturing project owner in CDP development.
• Review Process Safety Verification andapplication for Simple Project Procedure.
• Technical assurance for your discipline relateddeliverables of FEED and IFC packages.
• Guide and support the E&PM PM andEngineering Alliance with respect to your discipline relatedtopics.
• Act as Subject MatterExpect (SME) for your discipline within E&PMEurope.

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering,(Electrical).
• Fluent inEnglish language (conversation and writing).
• At least 10 years of engineering experience, ofwhich 5 years as lead engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of general, engineering andinternational standards and procedures.
• Good knowledge and experience of the projectdevelopment and execution processes.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings andknow-how of effective requisitions.
• Experienced and recognized expert for hisdiscipline with excellent knowledge related to genera/internationalstandards and procedures.
•Good analytical skills and being persuasive based on knowledge andconvincing arguments.
• Abilityto translate technical skills into businessprofit.
• Effectiveinterpersonal relations, team player.
• Ability to work under pressure and timemanagement.
• Goodcommunication skills, guiding third parties.
• Position is based in Geleen. Regular travel forshort period to other sites in Europe is part of the job, dependingon the location of the (major)project.
