YOUR TASKS

In the position as Project Manager Logistics in the Business Group Lifecycle Solutions, Business Segment Aftermarket, you are responsible for initiating, driving and steering of international projects within the global supply chain network.

• Lead projects to implement and further develop the global AM supply chain strategy.
  Optimize the logistics footprint in accordance with internal and external requirements and drive standardization of processes in the locations.
• Take responsibility to track and achieve the defined project and operational KPIs.
  This includes target definition, project set-up including timeline, capacities and set up of work packages, as well as stakeholder management with internal and external partners and deriving of decisions on management level
• Drive process optimizations in the end-2-end supply chain, including our distribution hubs and sales companies, as well as internal and external vendors.
• Take over functional lead of project members and local key users in the global supply chain to build up a global logistics network.
• Develop and execute adequate training measures for the global network, including tools for standardization and best practice sharing between the locations.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and continuous improvement with on-site workshops in Sales companies.
• Manage our Aftermarket transport setup together with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external).
• Report project progress and results to Senior Management and Decision Boards.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in logistics / industrial engineering / business administration
• More than 5 years’ experience in logistics or/and project management
• Very good knowledge of SAP processes related to transport management
• Profound understanding of transport and network optimization strategies
• Experience in working in international teams and managing different groups of stakeholders
• High level of self-motivation and independent working methods, positive can-do attitude
• Fluent in English and German
• Availability for regular business travel within the global network
