For more than 25 years we have been developing and manufacturing a wide range of premium quality RF distribution, RF-over-fiber, RF amplification and RF monitoring products for the satellite communication ground infrastructures around the globe.

Job Description

• Design, implementation and maintenance of software with C/C++ for embedded Linux and ARM systems
• Managing source code and project versions with Git or Subversion for effective collaboration and traceability
• Contributing to the overall conception of the system architecture for new products and projects
• Participation in the planning and execution of software tests
• Introduction of new technologies and tools
• Recording, investigating and discussing potential user/customer problems and resolving them (bug fixing)
• Sharing responsibility for the goals of the technical team
• Creation and maintenance of documentation for software designs, code bases and test procedures

Education, required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or comparable degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented software development
• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems
• Understanding of computer networks
• Experience in the SATCOM industry is an advantage
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, accuracy and flexibility as well as a high degree of team spirit
• Good knowledge of English and German is mandatory
• Open-minded and friendly manner

Voraussetzung

• Bachelor- oder Master-Abschluss oder vergleichbarer Abschluss in Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Nachrichtentechnik
• Solide Kenntnisse der objektorientierten Softwareentwicklung
• Erfahrung mit Linux-basierten Embedded-Systemen
• Verständnis von Computernetzwerken
• Erfahrung in der SATCOM-Branche ist von Vorteil
• Ausgeprägtes Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Zuverlässigkeit, Genauigkeit und Flexibilität sowie ein hohes Maß an Teamgeist
• Gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse sind obligatorisch
