English-speaking early childhood education professional (d/f/m)

for 30 hours per week on an open-ended contract to help implement the Fröbel Focus "Bilingual Education” in the crèche area of our education and care service in Ludwigsfelde (Germany). The starting date for this position would ideally be at the beginning of February 2026.

Our educators are aware of and consider the needs and interests of the children and include them in their daily educational routines. Special focus areas of our centre are exploration, bilingual education and physical movement. Our large garden offers the children plenty of space to play and to discover.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Supporting all aspects of early childhood education and care in English,
• Planning, implementing and documenting pedagogical processes and daily routines (as part of a team),
• Completing (or supporting, according to experience and qualification) structured observation and documentation of the children’s development and educational processes,
• Developing successful cooperations with parents.

Do you fulfil the following requirements?

• Are you a state-certified educator (staatlich anerkannnte*r Erzieher*in) or do you have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education?
• Are you in the process of learning German? Proven German language skills on level B1/B2 are a requirement for this position.
• Do you posess English language skills on a Native Speaker level?
• Would you like to learn more about education policies in Germany and how these are being implemented in practice?
• Do you believe that children should have opportunities to encounter foreign languages at an early age and that they should define their own learning experience?
• Are you interested in working as part of a team to design and implement an in-house bilingual education concept?
