POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a customer-focused After Sales Account Manager to support our Americas Business Unit. This role serves as the primary liaison between SLM Solutions and our customers after the initial machine sale, ensuring optimal customer experience, support, and satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the Americas region.
- Drive customer success by supporting daily production operations and technical needs.
- Promote and sell after-sales offerings including service contracts, training, consumables, and upgrading products.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Machine Sales, Business Development, and
- Service Engineers across a global environment.
- Lead or contribute to internal projects related to services and operations.
- Maintain long-term relationships with customers, focusing on retention and satisfaction.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in account management, preferably in industrial B2B environments.
- Industry knowledge in aerospace, automotive, healthcare, energy, or tooling sectors.
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a customer-first, problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to manage projects and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
