POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Serving as the Product Manager in our globally operating service organization, you take ownership of the service portfolio
- You understand customer processes, map customer journeys and identify demand-based intersections in the market to develop value propositions
- You analyze market data, map market trends and translate these into a meaningful roadmap to create a customer-oriented portfolio around machines and software to launch it to the market
- Responsibility includes product definition and pricing for service products (e.g., maintenance contracts, spare parts & consulting services)
- You run monthly cross-functional product control boards to ensure program progress and full transparency to the internal stakeholders
- Together with the commercial team, you drive business development, generating recurring, highly profitable revenue streams from servive portfolio by developing powerful sales enabling tools & sales training
- In close coordination with other departments (e.g., After Sales, Service Excellence), you meticulously organize all roll-out scenarios and thus ensure that all fundamentals relating to the product are available to make it successful in the market
- You monitor the product lifecycle status of the entire installed base and derive strategies from this
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Service Management, or related field
- You have 3-5 years’ work experience in Business Development, After Sales, Product Management, or any related field
- Optional: your experience in Additive Manufacturing is a plus
- You are confident in the global industrial arena and your exceptional ability to communicate in a customer-oriented manner sets you apart
- Your work style is characterized by good didactics and thoroughness. You think things through and always consider the entire chain in your work
- You are a team player and have understood that an organization can only be successful if it is able to achieve interdisciplinary excellence
