Tasks

• Responsible for month-end controlling and financial reporting
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Conduct variance analysis and identify root causes
• Deliver management reports with KPIs and dashboards
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions
• Support cost control and profitability analysis
• Improve financial processes, systems, and controls
• Participate in strategic planning and financial modeling
• Assist in audits, board reports, and ad hoc presentations
• Collaborate with teams for accurate, timely data
• Support finance team as needed and generate business plans
• Adaptable, flexible, and may perform senior duties

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Candidates in advanced stages of obtaining such qualification will also be considered.
• Having prior working experience as a business controller will be considered as an asset.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of SAP and BI tools are considered as assets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
• Proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Availability and flexibility to travel and work abroad for short assignments.

Lufthansa Technik Malta Ltd. was established in 2003 as a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG and Air Malta. The MRO service provider, based at Malta International Airport in Luqa, provides its customers with line and base maintenance services for short haul and long haul aircraft. The company has expanded its service portfolio and operates with a sizable workforce in a modern hangar complex. The Malta facility is part of the Lufthansa Group and collaborates with training partners for apprenticeship schemes.
