SCHURTER is looking for a new head for our team responsible for product compliance, substances and materials. In this role you will ensure and develop regulatory compliance of the products in the company's markets and lead a cross-located expert team.

• Lead and develop the global product compliance team and ensure consistent processes group wide

• Oversees the global approval portfolio and ensures adherence to relevant regulations and product safety requirements

• Development of approval proposals ready for application and new solution approaches in the area of approval

• Budget and cost responsibility

• Secures regulatory expertise for internal and external customers in product compliance topics

• Accountable for continuous improvement and digitalization of approval, material and substance management processes as well as their database

• Engineer with further education in Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in certifications and substance management

• Leadership experience in a global environment

• Fluent in English and good German skills

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with hands-on mentality

• Good communication skills and assertiveness and a strong team player
