Production Engineer 80-100%

Your contribution

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical support of assigned products/projects and the quality of material master data throughout the project duration. This includes the timely and seamless transition of products from development projects to series production at suppliers or internal production. You will also ensure efficient and economical procurement and manufacturability of products, assemblies, and individual parts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in product development projects from concept phase to market launch.
• Plan, execute, and integrate production technical aspects in projects and relocations.
• Plan and conduct or support process validation at suppliers.
• Participate in planning and engineering of required production and testing equipment.
• Develop production processes and establish production lines.
• Support purchasing with technical questions and activities with suppliers and sub-suppliers.
• Responsible for pre- and post-calculation.

Your background

• Electronic or mechanical education (University of Applied Sciences or Technician TS), project management training is an advantage
• Strong knowledge in production technology, design, and logistics
• Good knowledge of the supplier market
• Professional experience in regulated medical technology/bio-pharma, automation, automotive, and/or aviation industries
• Experience in supply chain management is an advantage
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
