Senior Project Manager Product Development (Solutions for LabAutomation and Diagnostics)

Your contribution

In this pivotal role, you will lead development projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgetsand key performance indicators. You will own, drive and be fully accountable for complex development projects, including platform and customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Defining and building project teams with the right cross-functional mix of professional skills.
• Managing the planning, staffing, and execution of projects for lab automation and clinical diagnostics including development of instrument, software and consumables to provide innovative solutions to our customers
• Planning, monitoring, and reporting on complex projects, coordinating interfaces with related projects.
• Ensuring proactive and proper communication within the organization and with stakeholders, including management board members.
• Demonstrating clear leadership within the organization towards all management levels.
• Coordinating team members located across multiple locations.
• Through leadership and methodological competence, ensure efficient implementation and adherence to processes, guidelines, and regulations, such as: ISO 13485, IEC 61010, machinery directive (2006/42/EC). ..
• Managing and coordinating cross-functional team activities to achieve overall project targets, including design transfer and industrialization.
• Proactively managing stakeholders and identifying and solving conflicts within the project team and with stakeholders.

Your background

• BSc or MSc in a technical degree, preferably in technical, life science, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
• A PhD in Life Sciences, along with project management education, PMP or similar certifications, and training in change management and leadership, will set you apart.
• Over 5years of experience in project management, in the development of complex instruments or automated solutions for Life sience and diagnostic applications.
• Experience in development and integration of complex consumables is a plus.
• Experience in product management and business administration is a bonus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (German and others) are a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in leading highly regulated product development projects, automation, assay development, and agile project management.
