Senior Technical Specialist

Your contribution

As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will enhance the serviceability of Tecan Liquid Handling products to reduce Total-cost-of-Ownership and increase instrument uptime. You will contribute technical expertise in the development of hardware, software, and digital tools & products

Responsibilities

Capture and advocate needs of Field Service and Expertline technicians.
Define requirements for product design to enhance serviceability.Provide technical input during design reviews and hands on testing.
Deliver service documentation along the product development process until launch.
Enable service engineers to perform service tasks.
Ensure knowhow transfer to the Product Support team.
Support first installations of newly launched products.
Contribute to service digitalization projects.

Your background

We’re not just looking for hard skills: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.

Technical education in mechanical, electronic, or electrical fields.
Experience in customer support of medical, pharmaceutical, or clinical diagnostic instruments.
Negotiation skills in English. German would be an asset.
Strong communication skills, able to deal with customers, internal stakeholders and work under pressure in an organized and analytical manner.
Passion to improve technical products and ways of working.
Willingness to travel worldwide (10-20%).
