Our software solutions help companies in the mechanical and plant engineering and manufacturing industries to efficiently configure, sell and manufacture complex products. In order to continue our growth, we are looking to strengthen our sales team with a focus on lead qualification, customer development and long-term support.
With immediate effect we are looking for our location in Mainz for a
>> Business Development Representative (m/f/d)
Your task
- Initial contact with incoming leads from various channels (website, webinars, trade fairs, marketing campaigns)
- Qualification of leads through targeted discussions to identify needs, challenges and potential
- Developing leads into paying customers by providing advice, preparing offers and negotiating contracts
- Long-term support for acquired customers to optimize their use of our solutions
- Identification of cross-selling and up-selling potential and targeted further development of the customer relationship
- Maintaining the sales pipeline and actively managing the sales process from the initial approach to closing the deal
- Closely interacting with the marketing team to optimize lead generation
Your profile
- Completed studies or vocational training with a focus on sales, business or technology
- Technical understanding of mechanical and plant engineering and the manufacturing industry
- Experience in sales, business development or customer support in the B2B sector is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and persuasiveness to convert leads into customers in a targeted manner
- Independent and results-oriented way of working with a clear focus on closing deals
- Analytical thinking skills to recognize and exploit customer potential
- Very good knowledge of German and English
