Job Title: CAMO Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CAMO Engineer to oversee all engineering aspects of CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) activities. This role is responsible for ensuring airworthiness, reliability, and compliance of the managed fleet in accordance with aviation regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support and control to the internal team.
- Review and assess technical data including Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
- Support the Records Manager in managing the Technical Library and its distribution to the maintenance organization.
- Administer and control all technical exemptions within aircraft maintenance programs and oversee MEL repair interval extensions.
- Manage engineering documentation and forms.
- Monitor and manage aircraft modification and repair statuses.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to contracted Part-145 maintenance organizations.
- Investigate technical issues encountered during maintenance activities.
- Evaluate and implement applicable Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives for fleet inclusion.
- Monitor and report non-conformance issues related to external workshop data and repair agency standards.
- Support all aspects of aircraft modifications and major repairs, providing technical details where necessary.
- Liaise with aircraft manufacturers and vendors for repair schemes and troubleshooting assistance.
- Review ECTM (Engine Condition Trend Monitoring) reports.
- Prepare and update aircraft maintenance programs as needed.
- Monitor subcontracted CAMO activities as per contractual agreements.
- Review and evaluate work performed by Part-145 organizations during Base Maintenance events.
- Represent the organization during base maintenance activities when required.
- Manage aircraft defects and warranties.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Continuing Airworthiness Post Holder.
Requirements:
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Clean police conduct certificate.
- Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or an EASA Part-66 License with relevant additional qualifications.
- Up-to-date training in general CAMO subjects such as Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-145, EWIS, FTS, Human Factors, and SMS.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a CAMO environment.
- Experience with Airbus and/or A220 aircraft is preferred.
