In this role, you will work as an Embedded Software Engineer for Integrated Computing Systems and contribute to the development of safety-critical platform software used in modern aircraft systems.

Role summary

You are part of an agile development team designing, implementing and verifying safety-critical embedded software for integrated computing platforms.

Your tasks

You work in a technically demanding, safety-critical software environment.

• Being part of an agile team that designs, implements and tests safety-critical software

• Development of platform software for safety-critical computing platforms

• Performing software reviews and creating technical documentation

• Design and documentation of software architecture and detailed design

• Supporting the planning of software increments

• Contributing to design definition and continuous improvement

• Analysis of stakeholder needs and higher-level requirements

• Specification of clear, actionable software requirements

Your profile

You are a motivated embedded software engineer with a strong interest in safety-critical systems.

• University degree in computer science, embedded systems or a comparable field (Master/Diploma)

• Several years of professional experience in IT or embedded software development

• Very good knowledge of embedded systems software development and programming standards

• Mandatory experience with model-based system design (data flow and state machine diagrams)

• Very good programming skills in C (must-have)

• Required knowledge of Python

• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and structured

• Strong team player with enthusiasm to share knowledge and improve solutions

• Ability to work effectively in an international environment

• Fluent English skills

• German language skills are desirable
