Your tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis and validation of flight control laws for manned and unmanned aircraft in a complex aerospace environment.

• Design and assessment of flight control laws for manned and unmanned aircraft

• Preparation and maintenance of flight dynamics models

• Design of linear feedback and command paths

• Development of non-linear control laws and care-free handling functions

• Unit testing of control law design elements

• Assessment of control law solutions in time and frequency domains

• Execution of manned simulations

• Documentation of design solutions and assessment results

• Technical support for other departments (e.g. simulation or flight test) on flight control topics

Your profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent Diploma) in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable field

• At least 2 years of professional experience in engineering

• Solid know-how in flight control, flight mechanics and control law design

• Very good command of English; German skills are a plus

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink

• Initial programming experience, preferably in Fortran, C or Python

• Team-oriented personality with a structured, prudent and reliable way of working

• Ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment
