Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Internship – "RCS measurements" (d/f/m)

Are you looking for an internship? In order to support the improvement of a RCS (radar cross section) measurement facility, we offer an internship position at the "Signatures" department.

• Location: Manching

• Start: 01.01.2026 or later

• Duration: Three up to six months (according to the study regulations)

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Development of real-time quality control for RCS measurements.

• Support of RCS measurements

• Support the optimization of absorber structures by conducting RCS parameter studies in a simulation environment

• Development and verification of mixing rules and electromagnetic models for absorber materials

Desired skills and qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student (d/f/m) in electrical engineering, physics or similar

• Strong interest in RF and antenna technology

• Practical experience with programming in Python or Matlab

• Fluent in English and German
