Short role summary

In this role, you support the qualification and standardization of materials and standard parts across the entire aircraft lifecycle and act as a key interface between design, procurement, manufacturing and suppliers.

Your tasks

• Supporting the qualification of standard parts, including definition and alignment of requirements with design organizations and relevant stakeholders

• Preparing and maintaining qualification documentation such as Qualification Program Plans, Qualification Test Plans, Qualification Test Reports and Qualified Product Lists

• Supporting supplier selection in close collaboration with procurement and supplier qualification teams

• Providing support during internal and external audits

• Supporting standardization activities for design, procurement, manufacturing and services throughout the full aircraft lifecycle

• Handling standards-related queries, reception discrepancies and standard part non-conformances, including definition of corrective solutions

• Supporting in-service topics and obsolescence management related to standard parts

• Contributing to the digitalization of standards and related processes across their lifecycle

Your profile

• Master’s degree or diploma in engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable technical discipline

• Several years of experience in process planning and process improvement

• Proven experience in the aerospace industry (e.g. operations, engineering or design)

• Experience in qualification of materials and standard parts

• Solid experience working with technical documentation

• Confident use of MS Office

• Experience with documentation and standards tools such as PDM systems, NormMaster or OMAMs is an advantage

• Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional teams

• Open-minded and dynamic personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Fluent English language skills

• German language skills are required

• Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory
