As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity, durability and qualification of aircraft components - from early design phases to in‑service support.
Stellenbeschreibung
- Perform structural analysis of parts, components and installations made from metallic and composite materials, including systems and equipment integration.
- Use FEM tools to generate, validate and assess results, and apply classical analysis and justification methods.
- Conduct trade‑off analyses to evaluate design concepts and propose optimized solutions.
- Prepare analysis reports and technical statements to support airframe qualification.
- Assess damages and develop repair solutions for in‑service aircraft.
- Support the Design Office and mechanical systems installation teams with structural expertise.
- Provide support to manufacturing and assembly lines, including evaluation of concessions and deviations.
- Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders and cross‑functional departments.
Profil
- Master's or Diploma degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of aerospace experience, specifically in aircraft structural analysis.
- Strong knowledge of classical stress analysis methods (e.g., HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young).
- Familiarity with design principles, manufacturing processes and materials (metals and composites) is welcomed.
- Expert experience with structural and fatigue analysis tools, such as Nastran or Hyperworks.
- Strong skills in finite‑element modelling, including pre‑ and post‑processing.
- German: fluent, English: fluent; French is a plus.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.
