Job Description:
In order to take our Engineering and Training Simulators to the next level, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a pasionate:
Technical Project Manager Simulation & IT Infrastructure (d/f/m)
We develop top notch, high fidelity Engineering and Training Simulations for a variety of aircrafts, supporting the entire development lifecycle. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to reinforce our simulation team in Manching. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of of the IT Infrastructure and DevOps Services for Simulation projects, on cost, on time and on quality. Your projects are in international environments and require close collaboration and coordination with colleagues from other countries and partner companies.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Technical Project Lead for simulation / software development teams of up to 10 members
Define Simulation IT Infrastructure architectures & pipelines together with your team
Management of externally subcontracted workpackages
Controlling and monitoring of the project schedule
Cost planning and monitoring
Communication Management
Risk Management
Regular reporting to your line management and the program management organization
Occasional travels to project integration sites or customer installations
Desired skills and qualifications
D egree in Computer Science or similar
A t least 7 - 10 years of professional experience required
Hands-on proven Project management experience in Simulation and/or Software projects
Hands-on IT Infrastructure & DevOps skills
PMP certification would be beneficial
Software development experience in prior assignments
Experience in agil software development would be beneficial
Experience in training simulation would be beneficial
Excellent English (negotiation level)
