Our client is a global energy organization headquartered in Mannheim, operating in 120+ countries with a global workforce of more than 100,000 employees. As they prepare for three major M&As in the coming year, they have large growth in their IT team. They are seeking an experienced Inhouse SAP Basis Consultant to join their growing team in Mannheim.

In this role, you will manage and optimize SAP systems to ensure high availability and performance. You’ll support major S/4HANA integration projects, oversee upgrades and migrations, and drive the company’s digital transformation. Working within a dynamic IT team, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the DACH region and central SAP teams to deliver secure, scalable SAP Basis solutions.

• Help build, upgrade & manage SAP infrastructure

• Configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting the whole system.

• Administer and manage system maintenance and upgrades

• Technology implementation and project support: You will support the implementation of current technologies in the SAP environment (Fiori/RISE WITH SAP).

• Communicate directly with all IT and Business colleagues

• 2+ years of professional experience in SAP Basis

• Relevant knowledge of database administration

• ABAP knowledge is an advantage

• Enjoyment of new technologies (BTP, Cloud ALM is a bonus)

• Strong communication skills

• Languages - business fluent German and English
