Your Duties:

• Ensure reliable operation and integration of IT/OT systems onboard inland vessels
• Maintain and troubleshoot shipboard network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, satellite)
• Coordinate with external vendors for onboard installations and system upgrades
• Keep inventories and documentation of onboard IT/OT assets up to date
• Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures, ensuring local safety and compliance requirements are met
• Provide technical support to crew and internal teams, and suggest system improvements

Your Qualifications:

• A degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in IT/OT environments, ideally in maritime or industrial settings
• Familiarity with virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity concepts
• Experience working with external vendors and supporting technical projects
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Fluent in English; Dutch and German are a plus
• Willingness to travel regularly to vessels and operational sites; company car provided
