As the Global Quality & Regulatory (GQ&R) unit of the Roche Diagnostics Division, we work with our partners in R&D, production and logistics to ensure that our products are available to healthcare systems in the highest quality and in sufficient quantities . This is our contribution to the prevention and diagnosis of diseases for the benefit of many 100 million patients worldwide. At GQ&R, we are a global team operating along the entire diagnostic value chain. Through our day-to-day work, we ensure Roche's "Right to Operate” , shape the global regulatory environment through valuable collaboration with affiliates and authorities and thus accelerate access to our diagnostic solutions for customers and patients.

The Opportunity

As the "PMQ Network Lead Near Patient Care", you will be a member of the Post-Market Quality Leadership Team and you will report to the Roche Diagnostics Global Head of Post-Market Quality (PMQ). In this position, you will be the leading figure and key point of contact for the post market quality of the products in the Near Patient Care (NPC) network and you will be ensuring resolution to customer issues and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • You are responsible for all end-to-end Post Market Quality product disposition activities and related processes including IRM, change management, and related data analytics .

  • You will work closely with functional leaders and teams from Global Operations, R&D, and Global Customer Support, to develop strategies and set priorities in order to realize business ambitions .

  • You will interact closely with the Chapters and Networks within PMQ to determine how to best allocate their members to Squads and teams to support the business. You will thereby empower and enable Squads within the Network and advance the work of the Network itself.

  • You will lead important international/global cross-functional projects/initiatives that impact Roche's business on a larger scale (e.g. integration of acquired/new businesses).

  • You will communicate a compelling vision for the NPC network and engage people to deliver against PMQ North Star and GQ&R Strategic Plan .

  • You will demonstrate Senior-level Matrix Leadership skills and will be motivating, coaching, and developing people and teams to drive customer focus in our mindset, work priorities and collaborative behaviors. You will embrace VACC leadership principles in a VUCA environment .

  • You will ensure effective interfaces of the NPC network with relevant other functions and chapters.

Who you are

You are a strong visionary and catalyst leader who is ready to collaborate with our affiliates, business partners, global/group functions and other Global Quality & Regulatory functions to deliver high quality products and resolutions to customers and patients and helps us create value through leveraging analytics, process excellence, lean methodologies and continual improvement efforts .

Must-haves:

  • You are holding a Master / Bachelor’s Degree in either Business Management / Finance / Economics / Marketing / Pharmacist or related discipline from a recognized university.

  • You are characterized by a deep practical understanding of the Diagnostics industry , especially relating to operational quality and compliance .

  • You bring with 10+ years of experience with proven leadership responsibility in the diagnostics industry or a related field within medical device, pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Nice-to-haves:

  • You are equipped with a scientific or engineering background, business acumen , and experience in the Near Patient Care field .

  • You are a well known expert with knowledge and experience in IVD, Pharmaceutical, and /or Medical Device industry; Regulatory Compliance, Federal cGMP’s and QSR’s, ISO13485 and 27001

  • Previous direct interaction with FDA and other regulatory agencies in inspections are part of your track record; or general history of successful interactions with regulatory bodies related to post-market product topics.

  • You are having experience of working as/with expert(s) on projects related to operational quality, compliance, complaint handling, customer support, or operations
