Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSE Manager to lead our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in QHSE standards, including HVK (Health, Safety, and Environmental Knowledge), and a passion for fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-quality work environment. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies and procedures that comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Lead HVK-related initiatives to strengthen workplace health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and coaching on QHSE best practices to all employees.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor and report QHSE metrics, trends, and performance indicators to senior management.
• Foster a culture of inclusivity and engagement, ensuring that all employees feel valued and empowered to contribute to QHSE objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QHSE Manager or in a similar role, with strong knowledge of HVK standards.
• In-depth understanding of QHSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, able to engage effectively with a diverse workforce.
• Relevant certifications in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management.
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.

Day-to-Day

• Overseeing daily QHSE operations to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Conducting safety briefings and training sessions for teams.
• Reviewing and updating QHSE documentation and compliance records.
• Collaborating with employees at all levels to address QHSE concerns and insights.
• Liaising with external auditors, inspectors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Tracking and analyzing incident reports to prevent recurrence.
• Encouraging a respectful and inclusive environment where all voices are heard.
