Ihre Aufgaben:

• Taking ownership of software engineering tasks within the R&D environment
• Designing, developing, and testing C++ applications with a focus on Qt and MITK
• Ensuring quality through regular code reviews, bug fixing, and unit testing
• Creating technical documentation in line with applicable specifications and standards
• Managing software releases across all stages
• Supporting the service team in handling technical customer inquiries

Ihre Qualifikationen:

• Successfully completed technical or engineering studies (e.g. Software Engineering, Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering)
• Extensive experience in software engineering (minimum 5 years) - preferably within the medical device industry
• Skilled in modern development environments (VS Code, C++17+, CI/CD pipelines)
• Familiarity with CMake or similar build systems and unit test frameworks such as GTest/GMock
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Medical Device Regulation (MDR), Risk Management standards and Cyber Security is an advantage
• Knowledge of modern development methodologies such as V-model, SCRUM, and BDD
• Good German and very good English skills
