Could you be the full-time Service Specialist Electronics (f/m/d) in Mannheim we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
In Mannheim, over 1000 colleagues from 36 different countries work together to develop locomotives, as well as signal and propulsion technology for vehicles that are deployed both regionally and worldwide. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Sven Loeffler and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
- Evaluate and implement replacements due to obsolescence
- Technical Support for the production and testing team due to documentation and processes for maintaincance, overhaul and repair orders
- Preperation and development of test procedures for the electrical testing
- Failure analysis and customer support for different applications
- Preparation of documents for third party applications
- Development of special testing procedures and measurements for control units
- Support and solve problems with internal suppliers and EMS

- Several years of professional experience
- Fluent German, good written and spoken English
- willingsness to travel (priority DACH Region)
- Knowledge in the field of:controls and electronics, programming control units, current standards (VDE, EN, DIN) for railway , measurement equipment, PDM and ERP,railway technology, especially controls (Traction, Auxiliary) and vehicle control units, hardware PCBs
- Strong technical and customer focus, relationship building and management
- Initiative and creativity, paired with analytical skills
