About the Role
Essity is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding Manager to strengthen and develop our recruiting team in Germany. This is a highly execution-focused role, designed to bring clarity, structure and consistency to recruitment. You will be responsible for enabling the team to deliver at a high standard, ensuring operational excellence in day-to-day recruiting, and adapting global strategies to the local market.
You will collaborate with HR and business leaders across Germany and Switzerland to deliver end-to-end recruitment and employer branding initiatives. With strong leadership skills and a hands-on mindset, you’ll help the team overcome tactical execution challenges, raise performance levels, and ensure Essity continues to attract and engage top talent.
What you will do
Drive operational excellence in recruiting, ensuring smooth, consistent, and effective execution across all processes.
Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed team, raising performance standards while fostering team spirit and collaboration.
Provide clarity on recruitment processes, ensuring consistent application and coaching the team on how to engage with stakeholders.
Translate global TA and Employer Branding strategies into actionable local plans that deliver measurable business results.
Partner with HR and business leaders to anticipate workforce needs and align hiring priorities.
Elevate employer branding plans through targeted campaigns and initiatives that resonate with local talent pools.
Monitor recruitment metrics, budgets, and compliance to continuously improve efficiency, transparency, and ROI.
Who you are
Extensive hands-on recruitment experience, including success in filling complex and hard-to-hire roles.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams across multiple locations.
Strong sense for individual strengths and development needs, with the capability to raise performance levels across the team.
Skilled in process clarity and standardization, ensuring a shared understanding and consistent execution.
Confident in stakeholder management, able to communicate professionally with hiring managers and business leaders.
Open to adopting global best practices and ensuring effective local implementation.
Digitally fluent, with expertise in recruitment technologies, analytics, sourcing strategies, and emerging tools (Workday experience is an advantage).
Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Location
This role can be based out of our Mannheim, Munich, or Hamburg offices and requires frequent travel across Germany. Regular on-site presence at various locations is essential to ensure close collaboration with stakeholders and teams nationwide.
