Specific Requirements
MSc-degree or equivalent in chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biotechnology or pharmacy with a strong focus on organic synthesis: multistep synthesis (ideally of photosensitive molecules, i. e., photoswitches and photocages) and photochemistry in the context of biological processes
strong theoretical and practical background in organic chemistry (dye chemistry)
some experience with biological techniques or willing to learn
interest in understanding biological processes at the atomic level
self-driven and team player
